Marryl and Tym's history (written by Marryl):
We first met in Kindergarden, and, not knowing anything about anything, we were instant friends. Tym lived down the road from me until first grade, when he moved a long while away. We only got to see each other rarely. Fortunately, just before 7th grade, I moved up a lot closer to him, and now we're only about 10 miles away from each other, making working on the website a lot easier.
Tym's had a computer for a while, and I got mine in January of 2000. By April I already had learned 5 times more than my family and I got interested in making web sites. Back then I was a die hard Pokemon fan (hehe), and I made a site using really terrible logic............thinking that people would use my site to get to other sites.................
Tym made a site called Tym's Cool Shows that updated for 6 different TV shows, including the Simpsons, Tom Green, etc.
Neither of us really got any hits, so we started a Pokemon website later that actually was pretty good (I still have the remains of it, but I dont know why ^_^). Eventually that went down. Tym was kinda dormant but I kept going. Another favorite site of mine was taken down and I tried to help get it back up, but.....no dice.....then I decided to try a new version of my older site, but that never debuted either...
Then, Tym got a new game called Harvest Moon 64, which we had both heard about. His friend had shown him the game and he decided to get it. When he showed me it, I also liked it, and before you know it me and our friends were Harvest Mooniacs.
Then we had the idea for this site, the best site of all so far ^_^ and it doesn't look to be going down anytime soon. And this is where we are today; still spreading the joy!
As for my current projects, I'm now no longer much of a Pokemon fan, and I've gotten into many other animes, especially including Dragonball Z, Tenchi, Gundam Wing, and I'm still a fan of the age old Macross! Either way, I'm currently trying to learn either (or both!) Visual Basic or C++ in order to make an online Dragonball Z RPG called DBZero to go along with the Dragonball Z site itself that I'm working on, Dragonball Zero. I'm hoping to make the RPG have a layout something like Napster 1.0 and it will have a built in IM center (called ZeroMessage, most likely) so that users can communicate. Either way, we're still working on this site just as much, if not more, and we're doing our best to keep you informed!
