I start out with 300G?!?!?! How can I raise this amount?
Well first of all the two things you can do are forage everything, make a basic route for getting all the things as fast as you can, try to make it between two and three hours, if not less. The other thing you can do is buy turnips, buy two because that's all you can get with 300G. After harvesting that and foraging for the 4-5 days the grew up the crop buying to three. Try to buy two turnips and a potato, then move on to better ones, even if you are swimming in money foraging is also good to do.
Which house upgrade should I get first? I have enough for each.
Well I would have to say the green-house first, only because it is the only one that will help make more money. Buy this or the kitchen, you will read why in the girls FAQ. The green-house can have crops in it and if you plant tomatoes/corn/eggplant you will never have to buy those crops again, just wait for them to regrow, that raises the value of the green-house and after a year or two starts paying for its self, and even give you back more then what you paid for it. By this time you should have all upgrades. The green-house costs a lot of money and also a lot of wood, stock up as fast as you can. Power nuts let you get more wood in one day.
Other then foraging and crop growing what are some other forms of pay?
Actually two opportunities arise in the game. The first is the building of the bridge. All you have to do is show up each day and you will work until 5pm. You get paid 1000G a day and it is totally optional. You also get to keep some of the extra lumber. The second is the building of the hot spring. All you have to do is show u, again, and you work until 5pm, again. You get paid 1000G a day, again. You also get to keep some of the extra lumber, again. If you show up the last day you also get a photo out of it, look at the photos page to find a bit more.
Should I spend some of my money at the bakery?
Sometimes. Only for two main reasons. The first is for special occasions, if it is someone's birthday, or you want to make friends with someone who likes cake. The other reason is if you are building up your cake card. From this you can get some pretty nifty things. You also can build up your flower card (might I add only works when you buy flowers, not crops, I hope I speak for everyone when I say *-_-). This is a real money drained, so use when you have lots of money.
How will having animals affect my money?
Well it hurts it quite a bit, but only for about half a month. When you buy a cow it is nothing but the cost and the feed for the first couple days. After those days it grows and gives milk. After a few weeks and months it pays for its self. The chickens cost 1500G, that's for all six if you incubate. Feed is another 10G, but subtract that from the selling cost of the eggs, anyway you do the math its all profit. Sheep are the same only they are gotten already wool producing, not much differance.
