All the seeds for plants have a certain season that they can be planted in. If you plant them in the wrong season they die right of the bat. Also if you plant the seeds after the 25, no matter the season, they die the same way as above

Also when the day comes all you can do is give gifts to your wife and child (assuming you have these) and then go to sleep and hope for the best. Some crops will be gone but theirs nothing you can do.

Examples are as follows, If its the 24-25 of Spring, plant Tirnups so you can harvest them before the end of the months, its just extra profit. If its the begining of spring plant Tomoates/Corn, you can get three to four harvests in the month they are there. Any other time use common sence.

If you have a green-house it almost doubples your profit. It can hold a giant amount of crops. You can plant over six bags or renewable crops and still have room for many more. Use this space to grow things for getting recipies or making friends. Other pros about the green-house are that is has its own water source and shipping bin, also TIME DOES NOT PASS! The green-house is one of the first house upgrades you should get.
